Blackfoot lets it rip on such standouts as the album opener, "Warped," as well as "On the Run," "Dream On" (no relation to the Aerosmith song of the same name), and "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme." TOMCATTIN' proved that these Southern boys were going to stand their ground and bash out more Skynyrd-esque rock, no matter what the prevailing trends/5(24).

Tomcattin by Blackfoot - - is probably their least known and underappreciated music. This is the fourth studio album of Blackfoot. "Gimme Gimme Gimme," - "Fox Chase" are well known among those who listen to Southern Rock and while the album did not produce any hit singles, it was good enough to keep the devoted fans comin' back for more and would have if the band hadn't disbanded in /5(63).

Well, little mama (I'm on the run) Yes, I got no time for you now Oh, I gotta plan for my crowd (I'm on the run) I'll see you before the morning sun And, a spread your love, baby Aha, cause I'm on the run Well I was just a little lad, but I sure was game Oh I loved to hear those people yell But, uh, back in my room I think I'll dust my broom.

Blackfoot were one of the few bands to survive the 70s intact and still able to release great albums in the early 80s. I'll admit that I've only listened to 3 Blackfoot albums so far, this one and the two previous albums (Strikes and Tomcattin), but man, I love this band. Blackfoot can do ballads/slow and hard rockers very well on the same album.
